Directions to Birmingham International Airport

From Atlanta: Take I-20 West to Birmingham. Continuing in Birmingham on I-20 West, take the Exit directing you to Tuscaloosa where I-20/59 merge West. Stay in left-hand lane. Take the first exit after the sharp curve at Exit 129, Airport Blvd. At the traffic light, turn left and continue to the Airport.

From Huntsville or Nashville: Take I-65 South to Birmingham. At the junction of I-65 and I-20/59 merge into the left-hand lane onto I-20/59 East. Take Exit 129, Airport Blvd. At the traffic light, turn left and continue to the Airport.

From Chattanooga or Gadsden: Take I-20/59 West to Birmingham. Take Exit 129, Airport Blvd. At the traffic light, turn left and continue to the Airport.

From Montgomery: Take I-65 North to Birmingham. At the junction of I-65 and I-20/59 merge into the right-hand lane onto I-20/59 East. Take Exit 129, Airport Blvd. At the traffic light, turn left and continue to the Airport.

Or: Take I-65 North to Birmingham. At the junction of I-459 merge into the right-hand lane and onto I-459 North (To Atlanta/Gadsden). From I-459 and I-20 junction, merge left onto I-20 West (To Birmingham). Continue on I-20 West, merge into left-hand lane at junction of I-20 West and I-59 take (To Tuscaloosa). After the sharp curve and briefly onto I-20/59 West, take the first exit, Exit 129 Airport Blvd. At the traffic light, turn left and continue to the Airport.
